چکیده

Background/Aim. The fact that lung carcinomas, like other solid tumours, can be immunogenic, may have a substantial prognostic value in non-small cell cancer. Specific cytotoxic T-lymphocytes demonstrated most patients with primary tumours of different histological types. Two main groups participate the coupled recognition tumour-specific antigens - (CD8+, cluster differentiation 8) and helper (CD4+, 4). goal this research was to assess relationship between tumour infiltration therapeutic response initial chemotherapy. Methods. Data were obtained from cancer whose after four cycles platinum chemotherapy observed relation density tumour-infiltrating (CD4+ CD8+) small biopsy samples. assessed line RECIST 1.1. evaluation system. Based on expected response, divided into three following groups: favourable (complete partial regression), stable disease progression patients. To CD4+ CD8+ T-lymphocytes, number lymphocytes determined at x200 (1.1mm2) magnification. Three visual fields dense lymphocyte infiltrate selected for counting, values all individual added up. mean value, samples classified score 0, 1, 2 3. During statistical processing data, low combined 0 1 group, high 3 group. collected database created SPSS 22.0 software used further analysis. analysis data included method descriptive analytical statistics. Results. results did not show any difference distribution epithelial components therapeutical (?2=2,977; p= 0.226). Also, there significant component (?2=1,329; p=0.515). There no influence stromal (?2=0,606; p=0.739) also, (?2=5,167; p=0.076). Conclusion. prove level (non-small cancer) had better standard

Prognostic and predictive value of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes for clinical therapeutic research in patients with non-small cell lung cancer

BACKGROUND Previous preclinical and clinical studies have shown that levels of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) significantly correlated with prognosis in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and survival after therapy; however, this finding remains controversial. We performed a meta-analysis, to evaluate, systematically, the clinical utilization of TIL subtypes in patients with NSCLC. ME...

Prognostic value of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes for patients with completely resected stage IIIA(N2) non-small cell lung cancer

BACKGROUND The patient prognosis after complete resection for pathologic stage IIIA(N2) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remains a significant concern. The clinical relevance of the host immune response to NSCLC has yet to be established. We aimed to investigate the prognostic value of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) in a uniform cohort of patients with completely resected stage IIIA(N2...

Prognostic Value of EGFR Mutation and ERCC1 in Patients with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Undergoing Platinum-Based Chemotherapy

BACKGROUND In order to improve the outcome of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), a biomarker that can predict the efficacy of chemotherapy is needed. The aim of this study was to assess the role of EGFR mutations and ERCC1 in predicting the efficacy of platinum-based chemotherapy and the outcome of patients with NSCLC. METHODS We conducted a retrospective study to analyze the r...

Prognostic value of CD4+ lymphocytes in pleural cavity of patients with non-small cell lung cancer.

BACKGROUND For patients with non-small cell lung cancer the TNM staging system and other conventional prognostic factors fail to predict accurately the outcome of treatment and survival. This study attempts to determine the prognostic value for survival of the proportions of CD4+ lymphocytes in the pleural cavity (PLY) of patients with resectable non-small cell lung cancer. METHODS Lymphocyte...
